European Week of Sport Initiative 2024
As part of the European Week of Sport, Kawalkada Sports Club proudly hosted the 7th Junior Horseback Archery Championships for kids and teens aged 8 to 18.
The day started with archery workshops where new participants learned how to shoot from the ground, while experienced juniors warmed up for the competition. Our skilled trainers, Maciej and Adrian, supported by Beata, ensured the young archers were well-prepared. What made the event even more special was the participation of parents and grandparents in the workshops!
Next, everyone took part in an exciting field game where junior-senior teams competed together, shooting at targets. The pairs with the highest scores were the winners, and all participants received medals for their involvement.
After the fun and games, it was time for the main event – the horseback archery competition! Juniors competed on two courses: a modified Korean track and the Hungarian track. Advanced riders shot from galloping horses, while beginners had the chance to practice shooting from horses led by trainers.
To conclude the event, each participant received a commemorative medal, and the top performers were awarded for their achievements. If you would like to see more photos please follow these link CLICK HERE
